Next to the everyday community, the Open Home Foundation runs two programs that connect Home Assistant with people and companies outside the project.

## Creator Network

The [Creator Network](https://creators.home-assistant.io/) is a group of content creators who regularly make content about Home Assistant: tutorials, product reviews, and showcases of their projects, on YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and other platforms.

### What members get

- Monthly meetings with the Home Assistant team on beta day, and the chance to give feedback on a release before it comes out.
- A private Discord channel to ask questions and give feedback to the development teams.
- Access to products from partners, and early invitations to events.
- The latest official Home Assistant hardware and a Home Assistant Link subscription from Nabu Casa, free of charge.

Members are free to share their honest opinion and constructive feedback about Home Assistant in their content. Membership is free, and members are not paid by the Open Home Foundation. They are free to earn money with their own content.

### What it takes

The Creator Network looks for creators with a positive reputation in the community, a loyal following on their channels, a unique voice or knowledge, and who treat others with respect, as set out in the [code of conduct](https://contributors.home-assistant.io/start/code-of-conduct/).

### How to join

Fill in the [application form](https://forms.gle/R5z7yUS1tDJuio8N6). Applications are reviewed weekly, and everyone gets an answer, also when they are not accepted.

## Works with Home Assistant

[Works with Home Assistant](https://works-with.home-assistant.io/) is a program for device makers. Products in the program are tested by the Open Home Foundation to work well with Home Assistant, and their makers commit to keep them working. The program highlights devices that work local, private, and secure, and that are built to last.

For the community, the program means one thing: a [list of certified products](https://works-with.home-assistant.io/certified-products/) that are known to work well with Home Assistant.

The program is for manufacturers. If you work for one, or know one that should join, the contact address is [partner@openhomefoundation.org](mailto:partner@openhomefoundation.org).

## Not a program, but close

- [Community Day](https://www.openhomefoundation.org/community-day/): one day with meetups around the world, held for the first time in 2026. See [Host a meetup](https://contributors.home-assistant.io/community/guides/meetups/).
- The device database: Home Assistant users can share anonymized data about their devices, to build an open database of how devices perform in real homes. See [Data](https://contributors.home-assistant.io/data/).
