# Pull request

> A request on GitHub to merge a change into a repository, where it is reviewed before it goes in.

A pull request starts from a branch with your change. Automated checks run on it, and maintainers or integration owners review it. A draft pull request is not ready for review yet.

Keep a pull request small and about one thing. Small changes are reviewed and merged much faster.
