Community
Help people, keep the conversation friendly, and bring smart home fans together, online and in person.
Home Assistant is built by its community, and much of that work is not code. People answer questions on the forum, help someone debug an automation on Discord, share what they built on Reddit, or organize a meetup in their city. That is contributing too, and it matters as much as any pull request.
This area is for you if you want to help other people get the most out of Home Assistant, keep our spaces welcoming, or bring people together.
New to the community itself? The community page on home-assistant.io is the front door for everyone who uses Home Assistant: where to find people, meetups near you, Community Day, and the newsletter. This area is about helping out once you are in.
