The Open Home Foundation keeps a public calendar for everything related to development at the foundation. It holds the release days, the start of every beta, and the community syncs: video calls about one project, like Matter, Voice and Assist, Music Assistant, or the Device Database. The description in the calendar says that each sync is open to everyone who is interested in that project.

Meetups happen in person, organized by people in the community, and are on Luma: the Home Assistant Meetups calendar. Community Day is one day with local meetups all over the world, with its own Community Day calendar. The list below shows Community Day as one event, with its meetups inside. The community page on home-assistant.io shows the meetups on a map, and has the invite graphics to host one yourself.

Coming up

These are the events of the next three months. The list is updated once a day, so for a last-minute change, check the calendar itself.

Add the calendar to your own

Subscribe, and every event shows up in your own calendar app, in your own time zone. Changes come in by themselves. The developers calendar also gives you the phone numbers to dial in to a sync, if you prefer that over a video call.

For the releases and the syncs:

  • Google Calendar: add the calendar to your Google account.
  • Apple Calendar, Outlook, and others: subscribe to the calendar feed by its URL. Most apps call this something like New calendar subscription or Subscribe from web.

For meetups, open the Home Assistant Meetups or Community Day calendar on Luma and select Subscribe.
