Input number
The more-info view of a number helper, a slider or a number field in the state row.
A number helper (input_number) doesn't have the newer more-info design. Its control lives in the state row at the top of the dialog: the icon and name on the left, and the control on the right.
The control follows the display mode set on the helper:
- Slider: a slider with the value and the unit next to it. The comfort temperature uses a slider, from 15 to 25 °C in steps of 0.5.
- Input field: a number text input, with the unit at the end. The vacation days use a field.
Below the state row, the dialog shows the history of the helper and its activity, like it does for any entity without a view of its own. These demos show only the state row.
- The slider and the field use the minimum, maximum, and step of the helper.
- The new value is sent when you let go of the slider, or when you confirm the field, not on every keystroke.
- When the helper is unavailable, the slider and the field are disabled.
- The number entities of devices get the same row.
The state row is state-card-input_number in src/state-summary/state-card-input_number.ts. There is no more-info-input_number: the domain is in DOMAINS_HIDE_DEFAULT_MORE_INFO in src/dialogs/more-info/const.ts, so the dialog shows only the row and the history.
