Water heater
The more-info view of a water heater, with a round dial for the target temperature and menus for the operation and away mode.
The main control is the target temperature of the water, on the round dial that the climate and humidifier views use too: the control circular slider. A dot on the ring marks the current temperature.
Inside the dial you find the label Target, the target temperature in big numbers, and a minus and a plus button. The current temperature is shown as a small label above the dial.
Below the dial, a row of menus holds the secondary settings. Each one only shows when the water heater supports it:
- Mode, with the operation modes of the device, like Eco, Electric, Heat pump, and Performance. The water heater above is in eco mode, so that is its state.
- The away mode, on or off, with a person icon that walks away when it is on.
- The mode of a water heater is its state. The menu changes the state, and the label on the menu shows it.
- The Mode options are sorted in a fixed order, not the order the device reports them in.
- When the device doesn't support a target temperature, the dial turns into a read-only ring with the current temperature and the state, without buttons.
- The dial takes the color of the state, and goes gray when the water heater is off.
