What it shows

The lawn mower view is a sibling of the vacuum view. Both are robots that do their job on their own, so both show a picture of the robot with a row of commands below it, instead of a slider or a switch.

The picture is a drawing of a robot mower that changes with the state: mowing, returning, paused, docked, or in error. It takes the color of the state.

Below the picture, a group of control buttons holds the commands. Each one only shows when the mower supports it:

  • Start mowing or Pause, in one button. It shows pause while the mower is mowing and can pause, and start otherwise.
  • Stop.
  • Return to dock.

The state at the top is the state of the mower, like Docked. When the device has a battery sensor, the battery level shows next to the time, like on the vacuum. The mower in the fake home has none, so you don't see it here.

Design notes

  • Buttons that make no sense right now are disabled. The mower above is docked, so Stop and Return to dock are grayed out.
  • Unlike the vacuum, the lawn mower view has no secondary settings below the buttons.
